SUMMARY:Second LRSS workshop on repeated dose toxicity ontology organised at Cosmetics Europe on February 02th 2017
DESCRIPTION:On February 2th 2017\, Cosmetics Europe hosted a second workshop on the development of a repeated dose toxicity (RDT) ontology.\nThis workshop with participation from external experts was building on previous activities in the field by ECETOC and CEFIC LRI.\nThe outcome will published in a peer review journal\, working title  “A mode of action ontology\, as a new organising principle for toxicology”.\nIn brief: the participants agreed on four main scientific pillars to develop a RDT ontology\, the critical modes of action to be covered\, that such ontology would support LRSS case studies and\, in a more general manner ingredient safety assessments. The outcome of the workshop may also be used  as a basis for future research initiatives. \n
